Artist of the Month RSS
It's the new year and Altitude opens it's doors once again with an amazing local artist. She has so much passion and talent! For the next three months we welcome her to the Altitude family. Introducing: Knotty Bots Knits by Claire Botsy. She resides in Hood River with her two little helpers, Marx and Binx, the Knotty cats (maybe they do more harm than good with all the yarn around!). She started knitting in college, inspired by her colleague that spun their own yarn. Botsy started to create hats and scarves for special people...
For our December 7th First Thursday, we're hosting a Holiday party from 5-8 pm with kombucha, art and good 'ole Christmas cheer!
This month we are excited to welcome back to Altitude local photographer Chris Fairley. After a successful exhibit in June, we invited Fairley back for a Winter Wonderland themed exhibit. His pieces highlight some of the Pacific Northwest's most iconic landscapes covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. An up and coming artist, Fairley's work plays with light and shadows creating interesting effects in his landscape shots. Stop by to see his work on display at Altitude through November 30th and support the local artist community. Photo: Chris Fairley Photography
